CMA CGM signs Nigeria port deal
[ April 16, 2018 // Chris ]CMA CGM has signed a Memorandum of Agreement to operate the container terminal at Lekki Port, described as Nigeria’s first deep-sea port. The development’s promoters, Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise (LPLE), plan to complete the two-berth port in 2020. The terminal will have a draft of 16 metres, a 1,200m quay, 13 quay cranes and a capacity of 2.5 million teu a year. It will be able to handle ships of up to 14,000teu.
