Co-operative effort wins day at Multimodal awards

The Co-op Food Logistics team rang up a major success at the Multimodal awards on the night of 29 April, walking off with the Environmental Contribution title.
Presenting the awards was Falklands war hero and inveterate charity fundraiser Simon Weston.
Woman of the Year went to Women in Logistics head of membership, Bethany Forvague, while Young Logistics Professional of the Year was Joanne Dolan, sales and marketing manager at Paul Ponsonby.
Exhibitor of the Year was Malcolm Logistics. Multimodal Personality of the Year was managing director of Maritime Transport, John Williams.
Simon Weston rounded of the evening with an amusing, but also at times deeply harrowing and touching account of his Falklands War experiences.
