Congrats – now do it again, Europa boss tells staff

[ June 21, 2022   //   ]

Europa Worldwide Group chief executive Andrew Baxter says his company’s turnover has hit the £300m mark for the last 12 months

But he told a recent staff conference in London that he wanted to reach £400m by the end of 2023.

He said the board’s growth plan s include new global sites and expansion across its road, air and sea freight, and 3PL divisions.

From an operation with 450 staff and a turnover of £76m when Andrew Baxter acquired the company in 2013, Europa now has over 1300 staff, and has just opened three new road freight sales branches.

He told the gathering: “We would not have achieved these excellent results without the continued enthusiasm and commitment of our talented and growing team.  They showed huge resolve when we were hit by Covid-19 and continued to service our customers across all division when many reduced or even stopped their services. We even completed our Corby site in the middle of the global pandemic which is a massive achievement.”
