Council to clamp lorries

Ashford Borough Council is threatening to clamp lorries illegally parked overnight, the BBC reports. It says that foreign trucks parked illegally in laybys along the A20 are causing problems with litter and human waste. Drivers from abroad routinely ignore parking fines and many have accumulated large number of unpaid tickets.
