Courier handler ready for the rush

Heathrow express courier handler CFL says it has seen a surge in demand for express shipments from across the world as last-minute shoppers order gifts from overseas suppliers, with imports up 18%. It has also seen a boom in exports, which were 30% higher this November compared to last year. The company  says its courier customers will collect more than 120,000 bags and it will handle around half a million deliveries over the Christmas period. In partnership with Border Force, CFL has introduced a new anti-smuggling system with more targeted inspections, less disruption, and more consistent collection times.
