CSAV adds new UK-Gulf service

CSAV – which recently announced a merger with Hapag Lloyd – has expanded its service from North Europe to the East Coast of North America and Gulf of Mexico with a second weekly sling, which calls in Southampton. The port rotation is Antwerp – Bremerhaven – Southampton – Charleston – Port Everglades – Houston – Savannah – Norfolk – Antwerp. The service uses five 3,200teu ships and the first sailing will be from Antwerp on 12 June.

The existing sling calls on the North Continent only.
