Dachser sets up in Vietnam
[ October 9, 2012 // Chris ]German forwarder Dachser has set up a joint venture in Vietnam. The new company, Dachser Vietnam, is majority-owned by Dachser Far East in Hong Kong and offers services including air and sea freight, customs clearance and a wide variety of other logistics services. In the short term the company plans to employ a staff of 20 with a head office and first branch office in Ho Chi Minh City. A second branch office in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi is planned for the end of the year. Michael Deisemann has been appointed country manager. He has 14 years’ experience in the logistics business in Vietnam.
