Daimler revs up Rhenus contract

Car maker Daimler has awarded Rhenus Logistics UK a five-year contract renewal to service 67 collection points across the UK and Ireland and delivering parts to 40 production destinations in Germany.

Daimler has worked with Rhenus UK since October 2010. The freight forwarder providing a total logistics solution including full reverse delivery for original equipment manufacturers across the

Rhenus manages the logistics service fo from its Automotive Competence Centre (ACC) in Cannock and operates multiple daily departures for Daimler from the ACC in Cannock using a network of trusted suppliers.
