DANX buys in Sweden’s far north

Danish-based fast freight firm DANX is to acquire Forslund & Malmström (FOMAB) of Sweden. FOMAB specialises in final-mile distribution services in Northen Norrland, one of the most remote parts of the country, and has terminals in Luleå, Gällivare and Kiruna. It serves business-to-business and business-to-consumer customers. Forslund will continue to manage FOMAB’s operations. Earlier in 2023, Danx joined forces with Poland’s ILS, and Norway’s Tromsø Budbil Sentral.
