Davies Turner party is off – for now

Davies Turner has postponed its 150th anniversary staff birthday party, due to be held on 20 June, until next year. It says that the UK’s largest independent freight forwarding company (which is still in the same family ownership as it was in 1870) believes that the innovative thinking that has seen it survive many ups and downs over the last 150 years, will see it through the corona crisis.

The company still has the photos of its 60th anniversary celebration, which was held just before the Western economies crashed in 1929.
