DB Schenker boosts Russia network
[ October 2, 2012 // Chris ]DB Schenker Logistics has opened four new Russian gateways at Berlin, Krakow, Riga and Helsinki which will allow additional transports to St. Petersburg and Moscow to be carried out.
It forms part of a campaign to boost services to the country particularly for customers in the automobile and consumer goods industries. Service options include short sea shipping and intermodal transport via Riga, where DB Schenker has a transshipment terminal to connect to Russian broad gauge rail network.
