Developers unveil plans for Thameside superhub
[ October 5, 2018 // Chris ]Thames Enterprise Park, a joint venture between fuel firm Greenergy and property developer iSec, has submitted an outline planning application to Thurrock Council for a new 5m sq ft ‘superhub’ on the former Coryton Oil Refinery site, close to DP World London Gateway port.
The largest part of the site would be a dedicated Food Hub bringing together processing, packaging, storage and distribution. Highly automated warehouses of up to a million sq ft would be available.
The developers say that the site would also be an ideal location for renewable fuel and energy producers and the park will also include a Sustainable Industries Hub for small and medium sized businesses to research and develop new technologies and techniques for the energy and food logistics industries.
