DFDS adds extra Rotterdam – Immingham ship

Ro ro operator DFDS is to add a fourth vessel to its Rotterdam/Immingham route. The MV Friedrich Russ has space for 110 trailers and 12 drivers.

Route director Netherlands, Mikael Mortensen,said the extra ship would allow DFDS to operate to offer two daily departures from Mondays to Saturdays and a fixed departure on Sundays.

Other departure times would also be slightly modified with afternoon sailings from Rotterdam at 15.00 instead of 14.00 and in the evenings at 20.45 instead of 20.00, giving customers more time to get to the terminals.
