DFDS to launch Spain-Rotterdam route

DFDS is to launch a weekly ro ro freight service between Spain and the Netherlands with a baseload cargo provided by aluminium and energy company, Hydro. From late May, it will connect the ports of Vilagarcía, northwestern Spain and Rotterdam, offering an alternative to road transport. It will be operated by the 2,600 lane-meter-capacity Belgia Seaways. Capacity is also available to industrial customers, forwarders and project cargo owners.
