Double-daily to Widnes

GB Railfreight has started a second daily service between the Port of Felixstowe and Stobart Ports’ Widnes
terminal, following introduction of its first service last October. It will operate five days a week bringing the total number of trains on the route to 11. The additional services are expected to remove around 500 HGV movements from the UK’s road network.
