Dover gets dredging licence

The Marine Management Organisation has approved Dover Harbour Board (DHB)’s application for aggregate dredging in the South Goodwin Sands area. The marine licence gives DHB permission to extract up to 3 million tonnes of aggregate by trailer suction hopper dredging between September 2019 and September 2020 to provide fill material for the Dover Western Docks Revival project.
