DP World breaks another kind of record

DP World in the UK says it raised a record £120,000 for its charitable partners in 2022. DP World Southampton partnered with the Saints Foundation – the charitable arm of Southampton Football Club – to raise £65,000 from a fundraising dinner and other activities.

DP World London Gateway raised £55,000 for its local charity partners, Meningitis Now and Little Havens Hospice, at a Christmas quiz night.

Ernst Schulze, UK chief executive of DP World, said: “I am delighted that we raised more money last year than ever before for our local charity partners and I would like to thank everyone who worked hard to make this possible. Partnerships with local stakeholders are central to how we do business in the UK, and we will continue to support local initiatives and activities wherever we see an opportunity to improve lives in our communities.”
