Dreamliner for Chennai route
[ August 13, 2014 // Chris ]IAG Cargo is to introduce the Boeing 787 Dreamliner onto its Heathrow-Chennai, India route from 26 October, replacing the current B777-200. The new aircraft’s temperature control capability includes hold air conditioning and will help support the fast-growing Indian pharma market.
Regional Commercial Manager for APAC, John Cheetham, commented: “India is fast becoming one of our most important markets, particularly when it comes to the pharma industry. The B787 will further enhance IAG Cargo’s capabilities by allowing us to precisely control the temperature at which unstable medications and compounds are transported.”
