DSV signs JV for Saudi mega-scheme

Danish owned forwarder and logistics company DSV has signed a US$10 billion joint venture with the Neom project, builders of a new mega-city in Saudi Arabia.

It will focus on providing logistics services for Neom in the coming years, providing supply chain management, development and investment in transport and logistics assets and infrastructure as well as transport and delivery of goods and materials.

Neom will hold 51% of the joint venture and DSV the remaining 49%.

The venture is expected to create over 20,000 job opportunities.
