DSV unveils post-Schenker board

DSV has added several new members to its Group Executive Committee and renamed the Solutions Division to Contract Logistics, after obtaining all regulatory clearances for its acquisition of German forwarder Schenker.

Helmut Schweighofer, currently chief executive of Schenker’s Region Europe will become the new chief executive of DSV’s Road Division. He succeeds Søren Schmidt, who has decided to continue his career outside DSV.

Vishal Sharma, currently chief executive of Schenker’s Region Asia Pacific, will become the new Group chief commercial officer. He replaces Morten Landry, who will become CCO of DSV’s largest division, Air & Sea, from Q1 2026.

Saskia Blochberger will join the DSV Group Executive Committee as group chief people officer (CPO). She joins from her position as CPO in Schenker’s Region Europe and brings significant P&O and business strategy experience from a variety of leadership roles.

After a long-standing tenure with DSV, Helle Bach, current head of group human resources, has decided to step down and pursue new opportunities outside DSV.

As previously announced, DSV intends to nominate Jochen Thewes, the chief executive of Schenker, for election to the Board following the completion of the acquisition.
