DSV wins warehousers’ green award

Forwarding and logistics company DSV has been named the winner of the Award for Excellence in Sustainability at the 2024 United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) Awards.

The Award for Excellence in Sustainability commends organisations that excel in driving positive change through energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and the implementation of environmental initiatives and recognises those leading the way towards a greener planet, setting an example for others in the industry.

DSV is aiming for net-zero by 2050 with Science Based Targets and Green Logistics solutions, including CO2 reporting and sustainable warehousing.  It uses renewable energy from the grid as well as generating its own via solar panels.

Its repair services promote a circular economy, while supporting biodiversity with bug hotels, tree planting and beekeeping.
