[ January 8, 2014 // Chris ]GEFCO UK moved 18 motorcycles, dating from the 1920s and 1930s, from Coventry Transport Museum to the recent Motorcycle Live event at Birmingham NEC. The bikes were collected and returned in specially designed cradles.
The museum’s curator of vehicles, Chris van Schaardenburgh, said: “Thanks to all those involved at GEFCO, we were able to move our motorcycles safely and efficiently. They turned quite a complex job into a relatively simple task and we look forward to working with them again in the future.”
Roy Fenner, GEFCO key account manager pointed out that the forwarder currently distribes 65% of all motorcycles delivered in the UK, with a dedicated 2Wheeler team at its Coventry hub.
