Emirates to add Abuja and Kano

Emirates will introduce a daily service from Dubai to Abuja and Kano in Nigeria from 1 August . The carrier has flown to Lagos, the main commercial city, for over ten years. The route will be served by an Airbus A340-500 offering over 200 tonnes of cargo capacity per week. Main imports expected into Abuja and Kano are expected to be personal effects, clothing material and electronics, while exports include leather, kola nuts, spices and fresh meat.
