Espace launches ‘half-price’ express service
[ July 18, 2017 // Chris ]Espace has launched an Express PLUS 1 service, a heavily discounted semi-express service by co-loading two express shipments on the same van. The Express PLUS 1 service takes an extra day to deliver the shipm,ent and compliments Espaces’ dedicated ‘Freight Emergency Service’. EXPRESS Plus offers a Money Back Guarantee.
Espace says it had a record month for express freight in June. Express manager, Geoff Yates, said: “It’s a competitive market so I am always looking for ways to give Espace a competitive advantage. Some shipments won’t stand a dedicated van rate to / from Europe but they still need to be delivered in 48 hours. Traditional groupage services cannot do this, that’s why we developed our semi-express service, a dedicated non-tranship service at almost half the cost of a dedicated van.”
