Europa Worldwide Group recently welcomed 32 Logistics and Supply Chain Management students from the University of Kent Business school to its Dartford headquarters.

The students, led by their Senior Lecturer Dr Chefi Triki, who heads the Logistics and Supply Chain Management course at the university, were able to observe the practical application of logistics operations and deepen their understanding of the industry.

The students were treated to an up-close look at the day-to-day workings of a leading logistics provider including warehouse management, transportation scheduling and truck loading operations, as well as learning about the challenges faced by logistics companies, such as maintaining inventory control, ensuring timely deliveries and managing scheduling of shipments across international borders.

Dr Triki said: “Our students gained a deeper understanding of how the theories and methodologies they study in the classroom are applied in a practical setting. This exposure will significantly enhance their future studies and career prospects, providing them with invaluable hands-on experience that will set them apart in a competitive job market.”
