European Seaway laid up

P&O Ferries’ has put its dedicated freighter, the European Seaway into ‘warm lay-up’ at Tilbury. A spokesman for the ferry operator said that following the introduction of the first of two large multipurpose ferries, there was sufficient capacity without the Seaway but the vessel could be quickly returned to service if needed. All the crew have been retained within the fleet.
