FedEx donates $1 million to refugee causes

FedEx has committed about $1 million in cash and transportation support to deliver emergency supplies and critical medical aid to thousands of migrants and refugees in Europe. It has donated $1 million to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
It is also transporting hygiene kits for use by International Medical Corps in Greece on behalf of Heart to Heart International and medical supplies for refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon on behalf of Direct Relief.
FedEx will also provide “bags to the future” for the youngest refugees affected by this crisis. Each bag contains toys and other items to help children adapt to their new environment, thanks to employee donations.
