Fedex opens south-east Poland site

FedEx Express has opened a new warehouse and office facility in Kielce, Poland. It covers more than 2,600 square meters with 40 gates for courier vehicles and five for linehaul trucks, and up to 2,000 parcels can be scanned and weighed simultaneously by an automatic sorter. To handle larger freight shipments, a separate warehouse area is equipped with a dedicated scale and scanner.

The site is close to Katowice Airport for connections to Asia and North America. FedEx has expanded, modernized or constructed 12 facilities in six countries in the region since 2020 including, in Poland, new facilities in Gdansk, Torun, Kalisz, and Jelenia Gora.
