FedEx pitches in

As a global logistics firm, FedEx Express gets asked to deliver allmanner of things, but a complete football pitch must be among the biggest and most unusual items.

The express transportation firm shipped a complete ‘Pitch in a Box’, an enclosed, artificial-turf football field complete with metal railings and goals in two containers in May 2016 to the Cañada Real community near Madrid

FedEx and the UEFA Foundation for Children has been working with global not-for-profit streetfootballworld. President and chief executive David Binks, returned to the pitch 27 June to watch an anniversary tournament between young local players.
