Felixstowe forwarder on the move
[ August 21, 2012 // Chris ]Independent forwarder Jordon Freight has expanded from its current central Felixstowe offices to a site closer to the Port of Felixstowe and the local Customs offices.
Director Jon Swallow, said: “This is a great move for us as we are purchasing the 2,013 sq ft unit in Schneider Close, which allows us to really drive forward our planned future expansion of the company. Road access for trailers directly to our premises, as well as being moments away from the port and Customs, will all be hugely advantageous to our operations.”
At the same time, Jordon Freightt has promoted Donna Begg to office manager “in recognition of her exemplary performance and dedication.” Previously export road freight manager, in her new role she will organise all office operations and procedures.
Fellow director, Roddy Forster, added: “2012 has been a busy and exciting year for us and the move to Schneider Close sees the culmination of many months in the planning. In addition to the move we have been concentrating on developing the Jordon team, which includes the appointment of Donna as well as Simon Fisk to the management team as European freight manager.
