First ship visits new Hoi Chi Minh terminal

On 21 April DP World welcomed MSC’s 2,378teu Xutra Bhum as the first vessel to navigate the new channel on the Soai Rap River to its Saigon Premier Container Terminal in Hoi Chí Minh City, Vietnam. With a draft of 9.5 metres, the channel doubles the size of vessels that can access the terminal to 5,000teu and there no night time restrictions.
