Forwarder and handler to explore solutions

German forwarder Kuehne+Nagel has signed a memorandum of understanding with ground handling company SATS.

The two companies have already collaborated on several successful proofs of concept to optimise ground handling for e-commerce shipments, air charter hub and spoke operations, and to improve visibility and cargo processing speeds for time-critical shipments.

SATS, which acquired Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in April, aims to co-develop and implement solutions in Asia, Europe and North America.
