Four Ashes goes public with rail plan
[ June 13, 2016 // Chris ]Property developer Four Ashes has launched a public consultation on its plans to build a rail freight interchange to serve South Staffordshire and the West Midlands. Public exhibitions are scheduled in the Wolverhampton and Staffordshire areas from late June until 9 July.
The project is classed as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project, which means it needs a Development Consent Order from the Secretary of State, rather than a planning application which is decided by the local planning authority. An application is expected to be submitted in about autumn 2017.
