Frenni signs forces covenant
[ June 27, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]South Wales logistics firm Frenni Transport has signed the Armed Forces Covenant.
The Covenant is a pledge by businesses and organisations to acknowledge and honour the dedication and sacrifices made by members of the armed forces, both past and present, and their families.
In signing, Frenni Transport, a member of the Palletways network, demonstrates its continued dedication to providing support, recognition, and opportunities for those who have served or continue to serve their country and pledges to assist veterans, reservists, and their families.
Director Simon Parry, said: “We recognise the invaluable skills, experiences and qualities that members of the armed forces community can bring to the workforce. Ex-service personnel and reservists are resilient, adaptable, committed to teamwork and, very often, possess strong leadership and technical skills. These individuals have also sacrificed for our nation and providing them with meaningful opportunities is our way of honouring their service.”
The firm currently employs seven ex-service personnel, including long-distance and local collecting and delivering drivers, as well as two military spouses.
