From the Royal Signals to the road

When former Royal Signals serviceman Craig Wells left the army, he was described as “the most qualified unemployed person I’ve seen” by his Job Centre rep. But after a long battle to find work, he set up T&B Solutions in Redcar, Teesside with one vehicle.

Ten years on, the company boasts a fleet of 26 and became a member of the Wolverhampton-based Pallet-Track network earlier this year.

It also provides transport throughout the UK and Europe, as well as intermodal and heavy haulage.
