FTA buys freight training firm

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has acquired air cargo security and dangerous goods training company T Team. The company, which trades as TrainingTeam provides industry approved specialist training courses at venues across the country and online, which focus on air cargo security and the movement of dangerous goods by air, road and sea.

TrainingTeam was founded by Charles Manetta in 1988 after a successful career in airline ground operations and staff training. 

He said: “Our courses will complement FTA’s offering to ensure the sector continues to benefit from the best possible compliance training.”

TrainingTeam’s employees will remain at the organisation’s Crawley HQ.
