FTA keeps tabs on French fuel

With up to half of France’s 10,000 filling stations running dry or short of fuel due in the current wave of protests over new labour laws, the Freight Transport Association is urging drivers heading to Europe to check the Connexions France website (www.connexionsfrance.com). A real-time map shows availability of fuel at filling stations across the country and is provided by the free Essence Pas Chere mobile phone app, which can also be used once in France to find nearby filling stations which still have fuel.
