GAC signs east Malaysia JV

Shipping, logistics and marine services group GAC Malaysia has signed a joint venture with Syarikat Uminaca to provide manpower and stevedoring services in the region and support development projects in Sarawak and Sabah.These include the Lang Lebah offshore gas field, various Petros projects and the Sarawak Metro Autonomous Rail Transit project, as well as oil and gas facilities at the Sipitang Oil and Gas Industrial Park in Sabah. In August last year, GAC opened its 14th official office in Malaysia, in Kota Kinabalu.
