Gathering of the Europa clan

Senior Europa managers and department heads descended on the Crown Hotel at Bawtry in the East Midlands to hear progress to date from Europa’s board following the dynamic acquisition of the business in August 2013.

From Hong Kong to Glasgow, Newcastle to Bristol, Erith to Manchester, 48 staff came together from Europa’s 13 different sites and from all of its worldwide operations in air, sea, logistics and road transport.

Managing director Andrew Baxter, said: “It is a vital part of our company culture to be open about our ambitions and plans for the business so engaging the whole senior team in one room is essential. It is important to share information about what has been achieved in the first 12 months following the acquisitions. There was a great atmosphere and sense of team spirit. We’re excited about the year ahead, the next big step being the launch of the new southern hub and new headquarters in Dartford in the spring.”
