Gefco motors ahead in Bristol

Gefco UK has quadrupled its staff at its Portbury, Bristol site and increased turnover by 100% following completion of an extensive modernisation plan.

Portbury is one of four UK finished vehicle logistics centres and is located within the Port of Bristol.

The upgrades include expanding the site to 40 acres and the development of a suite of technical services. Gefco now offers increased storage capacity, access to rail services, moving vehicles in efficient and environmentally friendly methods, vehicle enhancement capabilities, and direct dealer delivery services.

The expanded site is expected to import an additional 20,000 Citroen C3 Picasso cars from late 2017.
