Gefco wagons roll as car makers get ready to restart

Automotive logistics specialist Gefco has moved 500 tons of key automotive parts from Wuhan, China to France on one of the first block trains to travel from the city since the COVID-19 global crisis. The 41 containers arrived at the Lille Dourges terminal (pictured) in northern France 19 days after collection on 21 April, in time for a planned restart of manufacturing at major European car plants.
