Geodis organises China airlift

The French Government has commissioned Geodis to organize an emergency movement of millions of masks from China. The forwarder is planning 16 flights over the coming weeks, with a weekly volume of around 2,400sq m. If necessary, the schedule could be extended into May. GEODIS has chartered two Antonov 124 aircraft, the first of which flew with 8.5 million masks from Shenzhen in China to Paris-Vatry on 30 March. A second flight is scheduled later this week carrying 13 million more masks.
