Geodis sets out its green and ethical ambition
[ December 3, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]French-owned forwarding and logistics company Geodis has unveiled an Ambition 2027 strategic plan to deliver innovative, sustainable and ethical logistics solutions.
It is centred on a roadmap to significantly reduce its carbon footprint and be recognized as a leader in sustainable logistics and is a continuation of the previous plan covering the period 2018 to 2023.
Geodis aims to achieve faster growth than the overall logistics market by introducing new tools and 1,500 sales personnel.
It adds that ithas upgraded its operational systems over the past decade and its cost structure and tools are now scaled to absorb new volumes without compromising quality of service.
In 2024, 3.5% of its revenues were invested in technologies in 2024.
It has also undertaken an ambitious decarbonization strategy and has put the health and safety of its employees, as well as dialogue stakeholders, at the heart of its corporate strategy. Geodis intends to increase its electric vehicle fleet tenfold by 2030.

The Ambition 2027 strategic plan strengthens our focus on operational, financial, social and environmental performance while staying true to a better way to deliver.”
