Girteka scales up brokerage with new forwarding office

Lithuanian-based Girteka Group, Europe’s largest asset-based transport company is launching an expanded brokerage service with the support of its new forwarding office in Warsaw, Poland.

Brokerage operations are led by Angel Kalinov, an experienced industry professional with a proven track record in North America and Europe.

With Polish carriers managing over 20% of transport in Europe, the new office gives Girteka access to a large carrier pool and, by integrating operations in Vilnius and Warsaw, it aims to combine local expertise with its brokerage platform. Girteka’s largest transport base is in Sady near Poznań and it also operates a ClassTrucks sales yard in Rawa Mazowiecka.
