Greencarrier becomes JAS Worldwide
[ November 2, 2022 // Chris Lewis ]Greencarrier Freight Services International and its subsidiaries are now operating under the JAS Worldwide name following the latter’s acquisition of the Swedish forwarder in November 2021.
Chief executive of Greencarrier Freight Services Mikael Forsberg said the move was “the natural next step in our integration with JAS, and our team members are excited to now officially be a part of the JAS family. Over the past year, our clients have enjoyed the extended network of logistics services and solutions that being part of the JAS group offers, and this integration will make that experience even more seamless.”
The acquisition extended Atlanta -headquartered JAS’s geographic footprint into the Nordics, Baltics, and Eastern Europe.
JAS chief executive Marco Rebuffi, noted: “This extension provides our customers with even higher levels of service and broader solutions as a part of our strong global freight forwarding and logistics network. Our ongoing success and exceptional service in the logistics sector are only possible because of our team members, and we are delighted to welcome our new colleagues and customers to the JAS family.”
