Hamburg fall levels off

The decline in cargo in at the port of Hamburg in the third quarter was 8%, considerably less than in the second, it said. Container throughput was down only 4.9%, to 2.3m teu in the third quarter. Port of Hamburg Marketing says that the results in the third quarter give reason to be optimistic that the double-digit decrease in turnover has ended.
