Hamburg’s HHLA starts move to app access

German stevedore Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) has started the transition to its new Passify app at its Tollerort Container Terminal. The system will be rolled out gradually and will replace the existing trucker’s card. One major advantage of Passify is that drivers are clearly identified by authenticating themselves via the app, improving security and data protection and fulfilling all the requirements of the ISPS code. In addition, Passify will be fully integrated into HHLA’s gate processes, contributing to the further digitalisation of terminal processes.
