No, it isn’t the latest Health & Safety high vis clothing initiative – only Port of Tyne employees putting on their festive jumpers to raise money for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
Port Security Officer Dayang Darnell seems to have taken the matter further than most with this spectacular outfit covered in hundreds of lights.
Still recovering from foot surgery, he’s also decorated his mobility scooter as Santa’s sleigh.
