Hat-trick for AGI’s Cardiff team
[ March 20, 2023 // Chris Lewis ]Freight forwarder AGI’s team in Cardiff has completed an air freight charter to move oil and gas industry shipment from China to Germany, via Azerbaijan. The 30 tonnes of boilers and tubing moved on three chartered Boeing 747 freighters and the team also organised road transport from Germany to Spain to complete the shipment.
Key account manager for AGI Cardiff, Gavin Haycock commented: “By splitting the shipment out, each Boeing 747 carried two crates, meaning the freight could be delivered together. This was key for the customer, and that’s exactly what we delivered.”
Director for AGI Cardiff, Lee Sheppard, added: “The team worked incredibly hard on this freight project, and the customer couldn’t have been happier with the result. This was a great project to be involved in, especially as it’s an area we specialise in.”
