Hellmann sets up UAE trucking venture

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has set up Hellmann ATS Road Solutions, a joint venture with UAE-based operator ATS. It gives the German company access to a fleet of over 600 vehicles in the region. Under the terms of the joint venture, HellmannATS Road Solutions will exclusively handle all road transport operations for Hellmann in the UAE. The joint venture will be managed by Mutasim Abuhmaidan. The partners describe the JV as a response to the fragmented trucking sector in UAE, that will enhance supply chain visibility with technology-based solutions.
